MASPALAMOS

Maspalomas Dunes
This unique natural area of vast sand dunes is one of the most iconic
landscapes of Gran Canaria. Often compared to a small desert by the sea, the
dunes invite you to go for walks, take photographs and enjoy spectacular
sunsets. They are world-renowned and clearly visible from the rooftop
terrace of Casa Portos.

Playas de Maspalamos & Del Inglés
These wide sandy beaches merge seamlessly into one another, forming a long
coastline that is perfect for sunbathing, swimming and long walks along the
dunes. Each moment of the day has its own atmosphere.
Maspalomas Lighthouse (Meloneras)
This iconic 19th-century lighthouse marks the end of the beach and serves as
a landmark for the region. The surrounding promenade is ideal for a relaxed
stroll, with cafés, restaurants and shops close by.

La Charca de Maspalomas
Located at the edge of the dunes, this peaceful lagoon is an important
resting place for various bird species. It is a pleasant spot for a short
walk and a quiet moment in a unique natural setting.

Yumbo Centre
A lively complex with numerous shops, restaurants and cafés. During the day
it is a pleasant place to wander around, while in the evening it turns into
a vibrant entertainment area with shows and nightlife.

Palmitos Park
A combination of botanical garden and animal park set in a green valley.
Visitors can discover exotic plants, butterflies and impressive shows
featuring birds of prey and other animals. A varied excursion for all ages.
Aqualand Maspalomas
A large water park with slides and pools for all ages. It is a popular
destination for a fun-filled day, especially during warmer periods.

Maspalomas Botanical Garden
A quieter park with a fine collection of tropical and native plants. Ideal
for taking a break from the beach and the busier areas.

Holiday World Maspalomas
An amusement park with fairground attractions, bowling and restaurants.
Particularly enjoyable in the evening.

San Fernando and the local market
This more authentic part of Maspalomas offers insight into everyday island
life. The local market, held for example on Wednesdays and Saturdays, is a
pleasant place to stroll and discover local products.
Rábita Califal
Archaeological remains from the Islamic period, located in the park in front
of Casa Portos, about 200 metres walking distance. A quiet and atmospheric
place where history and nature meet.

Segura River and riverside promenade
The penthouse is located along the Segura River. From the rooftop terrace
and the kitchen you have beautiful views of the river, the hinterland and
the mountains where the sun sets. As soon as you step outside, you can start
walking directly along the riverside path towards the sea or inland.
